Pyro Robots appear in Isle of mann vs. Machine as enemies. They are mechanical versions of the Pyro. Unlike other robots, they are immune to afterburn, much similar the Pyro.

Invulnerable grey versions of the Pyro Robot also appear in SnowVille, pulling the sleigh.

Normal variants

Pyro

These robots are equipped with a Flame Thrower and attack upwards close. They may use their compression blast to deflect well-nigh projectiles (encounter article for list). However, they will not use pinch nail to extinguish teammates on burn down, often use compression smash late on fast-moving projectiles such every bit Crusader's Crossbow'southward arrows and never intentionally shove away Stickybomb traps or enemies. Pyro Robots that appear with and cluster around Giant Robots eventually scatter when the giant is killed. This advanced variation of the unmarried Pyro-bot appears only in Caliginous Antic and Broken Parts. Their speed makes them faster than Lookout man-bots, so don't let them take the bomb. These Pyros are also very skilled at reflecting projectiles and their damage bonus increases harm of reflected projectiles too. The variant that appears in Caliginous Caper has the same stats as the variants in Cleaved Parts, but is named "Pyro" and wears the Old Guadalajara hat.

Flare Pyro

This less common variant wields the Flare Gun, allowing it to attack outside of Flamethrower range, although with some difficulty when a target is up close. Their motion beliefs is similar to the normal Pyro.

Flare Pyro (Type 2)

This very rare variant of Flare Pyro uses an upgraded Detonator. These Pyro-bots take a single Pyro-bot icon and only appear on the 2nd wave of Hateful Machines every bit a Giant Pyro's support.

Giant Pyro robots are equipped with a Flame Thrower and behave similar their smaller counterparts. Behemothic Pyros are very skilled at reflecting projectiles, so exist conscientious.

Chief Pyro

Unknown what the boss would've been used for, carries a powerful Flamethrower that has a lethal times v damage. Appears to employ basic boss stats similar to Sergeant Crits or Captain Punch.

• Giant Pyros have unused firing sounds for the Flamethrower (named giant_pyro_flamethrower_start.wav and giant_pyro_flamethrower_loop.wav).
  • On a related note, there are also unused flame particles within the game files that propose that the flames from Giant Pyros would appear dissimilar from regular Flamethrowers.
• Similar to other giants (except giant Medics), Giant Pyros have unused pace sounds unique to them (named giant_pyro_step01-04.wav).
