As a cloud administrator, you can make Cloud Assembly cloud templates available in the Service Broker catalog by calculation a Cloud Associates content source and sharing the templates. The cloud templates are the specifications for services or applications that you can deploy to your deject providers.

Afterward y'all import the cloud templates, you share them with project members and so that they can deploy the templates. At the asking time, the cloud template is deployed to cloud zone account region or datastore that supports the cloud template requirements.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that the cloud templates that yous are importing are deployable and released in Cloud Associates before you lot import them. See How to save dissimilar versions of a cloud template in Using and Managing vRealize Automation Cloud Assembly.

Procedure

  1. Import cloud templates from Deject Assembly.
    1. Select .
    2. Click New, and then click VMware Cloud Templates.
    3. Enter the Name for this content source.
    4. Select the Source project and then click Validate.

      The validation process tests the connectedness and provides the number of released cloud templates that are associated with the project in Cloud Associates.

    5. Click Create and Import.

    The Content Sources folio lists your new source and the number of discovered and imported items.

  2. Share the imported items with a projection.
    1. Select .
    2. Select the projection that includes the users who should exist able to deploy the cloud templates.
    3. Click Add Items and then select one or more cloud templates to share with the project.

      The listing of possible templates includes the cloud templates associated with the current projection in Cloud Assembly and whatever cloud templates for other projects where sharing is enabled.

      Y'all can select all the items imported from a content sources or you tin expand the source trees and select private items.

    4. Click Save.

    The Content Sharing page lists all the items entitled to the selected project. The cloud templates are also added to the catalog where the project members can request them.

  3. Verify that the deject template is available in the itemize to the members of the selected projects.
    1. Click Itemize, locate the imported deject template, and review the projects to ensure that the project you configured is included.
    2. Click Request and provide whatsoever required information.

      If the deject template has more than 1 released version, select the version that you desire to deploy.

    3. Click Submit.

      The provisioning process begins and the Deployments page opens with your current request at the top.

  4. Monitor the provisioning process to ensure successful deployment.
    1. Select and locate your deployed catalog particular.
    2. Monitor the carte status until it is successful.

Results

The released deject templates are imported into Service Broker, shared in the catalog, and deployable.
